Who We Are

Africa Wiki Women is a pan-African community of women editors, contributors, and advocates working to improve the representation of African women on Wikipedia and other Wikimedia platforms.

Africa Wiki Women is made up of women editors, community leaders, researchers, students, and professionals who are passionate about knowledge equity. We support each other through training, mentorship, and collaborative projects to increase the visibility of African women on Wikipedia.
